What Happens After I Order My AlarmClub Honeywell AlarmNet Internet Alarm System Monitoring Service?
Once you order AlarmClub's Honeywell AlarmNet internet alarm monitoring service, you will receive an email with a link to an easy online form which will ask you for your alarm system's make and model as well as your system's zone information. To find your alarm system's make and model, look on the inside door of your hardwired control panel. Your system's control panel is usually a tan metal enclosure located in a garage, laundry room, closet, etc. (Please note: The control panel is not the keypad which you use to arm and disarm your system.) The wiring diagram on the inside door of your alarm system's control panel should have the make and model printed on it. If you have an all-in-one wireless internet alarm system, the make and model will either be located on the front of the control panel/keypad or on the backside of the alarm system.
After you submit the form, you will receive a phone call from an AlarmClub technician who will help you verify whether or not you need a
alarm system upgrade. Our technician will walk you through, over the phone, how to get into the programming interface of your system using your keypad. If you are able to successfully get into programming, no alarm system upgrade is needed. AlarmClub will then schedule a convenient time to come to your property and reprogram your system to communicate with our UL certified alarm monitoring station through your internet alarm system communicator. They will also do a full system test to ensure every device on your system is working properly. This reprogram/test process takes on average 1 to 2 hours, and is FREE with a 3 or 5 year internet alarm system monitoring commitment.
If the technician finds that your control panel or internet alarm communicator is locked out and cannot be reset back to factory defaults, you will need to order the alarm system upgrade or a new internet alarm communicator before your internet alarm monitoring service can begin. An AlarmClub technician will then take down your existing alarm system and install either a brand new internet alarm system or a brand new internet alarm system communicator, so that you can get AlarmClub's Honeywell AlarmNet internet alarm monitoring service.
