Please Note: The Alula XiP-XM-8Z wired 8-Zone Expansion Module is a special order item.
Alula XiP-XM-8Z Product Description:
The Alula XiP-XM-8Z Connect-XiP Wired BUS Zone Expansion Module is a versatile security system accessory designed to expand the hardwired zone capabilities of compatible Alula Connect-XiP hybrid security control panels. Featuring eight additional hardwired security zones, this expansion module allows installers to integrate compatible wired intrusion detection sensors, smoke detectors, and other security devices into new or existing residential and commercial alarm systems.
Engineered for flexible installation and reliable performance, the XiP-XM-8Z supports normally open (NO), normally closed (NC), and end-of-line (EOL) supervised zone configurations, accommodating a wide range of compatible hardwired security sensors. The module also supports 4-wire smoke detector zones, providing additional installation flexibility for applications requiring compatible smoke detection devices. With up to 350mA of auxiliary sensor power, the XiP-XM-8Z can supply operating power to connected devices within its rated capacity.
The XiP-XM-8Z communicates directly with the Alula Connect-XiP Hybrid Control Panel through a wired BUS connection and can receive operating power from the panel's RED BUS power terminal or compatible AUX1, AUX2, or AUX3 connections. Its panel-programmable design simplifies zone enrollment, configuration, and system expansion, allowing installers to efficiently incorporate additional hardwired devices into the existing security infrastructure.
Ideal for homes, offices, retail locations, and larger commercial properties, the Alula XiP-XM-8Z provides a practical and cost-effective solution for expanding hardwired security coverage without replacing the existing Connect-XiP control panel. Its flexible zone configurations, convenient BUS connectivity, and auxiliary power capabilities make it an essential accessory for customizable residential and commercial security installations.
