Honeywell 5821 & 470PB Product Description:
The Honeywell 5821 & 470PB is a kit that includes a 5821 wireless transmitter and a 470PB flood probe detector. The 5821 sensor with the 470PB it will act as a flood probe detector. Keep in mind, the 5821 sensor can be configured to operate as either a Temperature Sensor or Flood Detector. Flood detection is achieved with the compatible water probe 470PB for a wide range of applications; including bathrooms, laundry rooms and basements. The 470PB water sensor trips when in contact with 1/4" water (or any conductive nonflammable liquid) on each pin of the probe for 3 minutes. The transmitter restores when no water is on probe for 3 minutes.
The 5821 & 470PB helps protect against flood conditions or any kind and can be configured to operate as a standalone flood detector. Fully compatible with Honeywell Total Connect® Remote Services, it can send users email or text message alerts when detecting floods so you can take action to minimize and avert damages.
