ProSeries PROSiXSIREN Product Description:
The Resideo Honeywell Home PROSiXSIREN is a wireless indoor siren/strobe that is intended for use with control panels that support PROSiX-Series devices. The PROSiXSIREN motion detector is compatible with the ProSeries PROA7, ProSeries PROA7C, ProSeries Canada PROA7CN, ProSeries PROA7PLUS, ProSeries PROA7PLUSC or ProSeries Canada PROA7PLUSCN all-in-one wireless touchscreen control panels. With a combination of an audible 85dB siren and visible LED strobe light, the PROSiXSIREN siren is used as a part of a integrated security system to alert nearby individuals of an impending danger.
To enroll the PROSiXSIREN, begin by inserting the four 1.5AA Lithium batteries that come included to activate the device. The Green LED flashes rapidly during enrollment for up to about 20 seconds. Enrollment is confirmed when the Green LED is ON for 3 seconds. The siren did not enroll in the system if either of the following; the white LED flashes (the system chirps and the device powers down), the Green LED flashes rapidly when the device is removed from the mounting bracket (the tamper switch is triggered). To restart the enrollment process, ensure the system is in programming mode and activate the tamper switch. Once the PROSiXSIREN is enrolled in a system, it cannot be used with another controller until it is removed from the current controller.
After enrolling, verify adequate signal strength by conducting a sensor test with the device in its intended mounting location. Adjust the device location and orientation as necessary. The PROSiXSIREN is easy to install and can be mounted on the wall or ceiling. The rear tamper breakout must be mounted to a stud, solid wood, or with a robust wall anchor. The device can be enrolled and programmed either before or after installation.
The PROSiXSIREN should be tested immediately after installation and weekly. Activate Test Mode remotely from the Controller so we can test the sounder and LED. The sounder should sound a Burglary warble tone for 3 seconds. The LED light should flash a White LED strobe for 15 seconds. The PROSiXSIREN device is meant to be used only indoors. The PROSiXSIREN is only meant for indoor use it is not recommended for protecting outside areas. For added exterior protection at your home or business, you may consider adding a few PROSiXSIRENO outdoor sirens to do the job.
