The sole warranty provided by AlarmClub is a Limited Warranty to Customers who purchase GeoAlarm devices ("Product"). AlarmClub warrants the Product against defects in materials and workmanship under ordinary consumer use, normal wear and tear excepted, for one year from the date of original retail purchase ("Warranty Period"). This Limited Warranty applies to the original purchase only and may not be assigned. All claims for Product defects shall be initiated by contacting AlarmClub within the Warranty Period and if Customer follows instructions for return of the Product, AlarmClub will at its option, to the extent permitted by law, either repair the Product using either new or refurbished parts or replace the Product with a new or refurbished equivalent Product. This Limited Warranty applies, to the extent permitted by law, to any repair, replacement part or replacement Product for the remainder of the original warranty period or for ninety days, whichever period is longer. All replaced parts and Product for which a refund is given shall become AlarmClub's property. This Limited Warranty applies only to hardware components of the Product that have not subject to accident, misuse, vandalism, neglect, fire, or damage from other external natural causes (such as electrical surges, lightning, floods, acts of nature and the like), software upgrades by others, failures related to batteries, products not purchased from AlarmClub, unauthorized modification, alteration of serial numbers, improper installation, repair by a unauthorized third party, physical exposures including thermal abuse or stress, storage other than recommended by documentation). This Limited Warranty does not include batteries.
For specific instructions related to a problem with any Product, Customer should schedule GeoAlarm warranty support
in order to obtain a RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION (RMA) Number. Customers should provide the order number, model number and nature of the problem within this appointment. Prior authorization MUST be obtained for repair or replacement. ITEMS SHIPPED TO ALARMCLUB WITHOUT A CLEARLY IDENTIFIED RMA NUMBER MAY BE REFUSED. Products returned will be tested to verify the defect. Upon verification of the defect, the Product will be repaired or replaced at AlarmClub's option. If the Product is found to be in good working order or its inability to function properly is a result of Customer damage or abuse, the Product will be return to Customer in the same condition as received unless repair is possible and requested by Customer and in each case, shipping charges will be the responsibility of the Customer. Repairs of such nature will incur a charge for parts and labor and will proceed only by agreement with Customer to accept the charges.
Customer will be charged for repairs on out of warranty Product. Applicable charges will be quoted when a RMA number is issued. Charges may vary based on actual Product condition. For all non-warranty repairs Customer will be billed for all parts, labor and shipping costs. Non-warranty repairs are warranted for 90 days from date of repair.
